Church
Since 1898, the Diakonissalaitos Church in Kallio, Helsinki, has conveyed the Christian message of the foundation’s activities. It also provides a setting for cultural creators and an atmospheric space for family celebration ceremonies. Communion is shared with communion breads from our own bakery.

The bright and atmospheric church provides a festive setting for family celebrations; weddings, christenings, and funeral blessings. The light-filled nave, traditional architecture, and peaceful atmosphere make it an ideal place for special moments with relatives and friends.

Opening hours
The church is open on weekdays from 9 am to 3 pm year-round except July. Entrance from the courtyard side through building A door, above which the text Diakonissalaitos. Entry through the main door will be announced separately in connection with events.
Accessibility
There are stairs to the church, but accessible entrance by elevator is possible with prior reservation.
