Research authorisation and opinion of the ethics committee
Authorisation for research is granted by the director within whose area of responsibility the research deals with. You need to request a statement from the Deaconess Foundation’s ethics committee, if the research concerns a project, thesis, or other type of survey where the research material is acquired from people or working communities using the services of the foundation.
The opinion is sought irrespective of the way in which the research data is to be collected. Applications for ethics committee opinion must be left two weeks earlier.
